TOUR STORY: VOLUME 1
Tour Story: Volume 1 is a photo book created with my longtime collaborator Murs, documenting life on the road through the shows, travel, friendships, and quieter moments that happen between stops.
The project came together during a difficult time in my life. After my dad passed away following a long battle with cancer, Murs invited me to join him on tour as a way to get out of my head and clear my mind. I brought my camera, started documenting the experience, and what began as something personal slowly became a larger record of our time on the road.
I photographed the tour, while Murs wrote the main text. From there, I selected and sequenced the images, developed the structure, wrote the prologue and epilogue, and oversaw the design and production of the final printed book.
The result is part tour diary, part photo archive, and part document of a friendship during a moment when I needed it most.
The book was later sold on Murs’ final tour, where all 1,000 printed copies sold out.
